re: No till planting - bodean45
I no-till planted rye grass in my pastures last Saturday. Went check it out yesterday evening and in the areas where there is no competing grass, the rye grass has germinated and broke the ground. I'm pleasantly surprised as last year it took a while for the grass to germinate....

re: What are the OT's thoughts on fibromyalgia? - bodean45
In 9 years of practice, I've noticed that almost every patient with "fibromyalgia" has nearly the same habits/issues: 1.) Obese or at least overweight 2.) Smoke...a lot 3.) Drink tons of Diet Coke 4.) Stay in a dark, cold room nearly all day 5.) Have some type of family/marital problem If ...

re: 4-H / FFA Livestock raising - bodean45
I showed market hogs from 6th - 12th grade and it was a blast. I lived in the city so the hogs were raised at my uncle's place out in the country. Used to love putting them in a round pen to exercise them....which usually led to riding them like wild broncs
I enjoyed it at his age ...
They'll file with your insurance, but you still have to pay the fee up front and your insurance can reimburse you
There are some outpatient P.T. clinics doing this now. re: Tricks to teach a young golfer - bodean45
Let him swing however he wants now. When he hits puberty, his swing will change constantly until he finishes growing. Then you can spend $$ on lessons. For now, I'd get him to focus on chipping and putting. Feel is something that you can't teach, it comes with lots of time practicing. And if h...

Need gun safe/cabinet suggestions - bodean45
I'm looking for a 8-10 gun safe or cabinet for the house. My wife is adamant about me locking up the guns with kids in the house. Before any of the teaching gun safety comments, I'm already teaching the kids (and wife) about gun safety. It will be a gift from family so the price range is in the...

re: Quick grass question: dead spots after cutting very high grass. Best options? - bodean45
Looks like "root rot". There's a scientific name for it but I'm too lazy to find it (something rizotta I believe). You can see it a lot in hay pastures prior to cutting. Basically the bottom of the grass doesn't get much sunlight due to height of grass, therefore it stays damp all the time. It's...
