re: More interceptor cell towers found, this time in DC. - MamouTiger65
[quote]It has to do with *how* the device intercepts the data. It apparently forces the phone's signal down to 2G, which is far less secure than 3G, 4G, LTE, etc., then tries to grab the data on board. If you have certain towers which are forcing phones down to 2G, someone who knows what they're ...

re: Is it normal for shipping to cost more than the product? - MamouTiger65
There is probably portion added to every package to cover the cost of packing the item. I've run a few sites and it was common to add flat a handling charge. I'd guess if you change your cart to include more shorts, the price of shipping won't go up that much compared to the price of one. That o...

re: slimy okra in gumbo - MamouTiger65
Anyone else grow up with Okra gumbo as a totally separate type of gumbo? We use to chop it up and cook it down with an onion. Add some water then let it cook down a couple times. Finally Add a little tomato sauce to kill the slime. This was then used as a base for a gumbo. I still like to make this...

re: Is Mexico considered a 3rd world or developed country? - MamouTiger65
The original meaning of the term came from the cold war. US and allies were First World. Soviets and their allies were Second World. Those not aligned with either side were Third World. It has come to be used to describe poor counties since then though. ETA: Mexico is third world by defin...

re: How difficult are babies really - MamouTiger65
I found the first 6 weeks to be the hardest. There is always a new challenge though. Just when you get through one phase there is a whole new issue you have to start dealing with. re: Ever have a cash deposit into ATM "not take"? - MamouTiger65
ATM's have cameras that film every transaction. They can pull up the camera for the time that you said you were making a deposit. Between that and the count for that ATM being off the next day, I'm sure they will be able to fix the issue....

I have an Outlook.com account. From there I can create Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OneNote files and they are all stored in the cloud on One Drive. From there you can download the files or share them. I've never paid for any of these services. I'm assuming some capabilities must be limited, but I haven't ...

re: Does anyone get Gas at Costco? - MamouTiger65
Regular gas is currently $3.16 and Premium is $3.40. It is consistently lower than surrounding gas stations. They recently were also certified as a top tier fuel station. I believe the fuel comes from Marathon across the river and they add detergent on site. They also have an attendant working keepi...
