I'm surprised he can't run a grounding wire from the dish location to the meter location though....thats what they did at my house
The equipment we have is fine. It is just a "new rules compliance thing". They are perfectly fine with letting me keep things as they are and doing ...

re: WWII buffs: let's talk about Germany's biggest strategic blunder - ShermanTxTiger
Once the allied forces were in place Germany won no more victories. Bringing Spain along would have been problematic but easily overcome. US would have amassed troops in Eastern Eupore/Russia and marched West. France would have been liberated last and probably left in ruins but I don't really ca...

Thanks Direct TV!!! - ShermanTxTiger
4 Years ago we move to IL. I get a bundle deal that includes direct tv. (Always had cable before). The bundle dissolves in 6 months because the phone/DSL company Verizon gets bought by Frontier. Now I am paying two bills a month. To make the initial install the direct TV guy has to bust into my ...

re: need a mattress - ShermanTxTiger
Bought a full for my daughter last week at Mattress Firm. I was impressed with the pricing. They have a Walmart type model for marketing. Ribbons on the Mattresses for soft. medium and firm. Salesmen didn't bother us at all. Pretty much.. "Go find the one you want" Saw many Kings around 1K that l...

re: How easy is it to win in traffic court? - ShermanTxTiger
It's funny how many people believe fairy tales about a judge just dismissing a ticket when a police officer doesn't show up for the first setting of a traffic ticket. When someone claims this, you already know the rest of the post is a lie.
It is not a lie. Nice that you know every...

re: How easy is it to win in traffic court? - ShermanTxTiger
If the officer doesn't show up you will win. Otherwise you lose. I have challenged 6 in my life and won once due to no show. Once I had the officer so messed up under cross exam he was nearly in tears. He was new and didn't know much. Those waiting in the courtroom were snickering as I caught him...

Been there. It is easy to get in a rut. Work harder at everything. Make the first move in doing it. I didn't and was lucky my wife held on tighter than I did. Learned a lot. Celebrated 25 years in January. Things are better than ever but it takes work on both sides. ...
27% with critics. Are you easy going by nature?
I would think many people won't like it simply based on the fact it has a sobering message/warning. (For those who have ears) Artistically it could have been better but I didn't care because I was taken in by the story....
