I'm well aware of the cost. You don't need to justify your decision for your family to me. My point is that although some of the Catholic Schools may be seeing drops in enrollment in the area it's not an across the board problem.
See Mr. Bennett's quote about St. Aloysius in the article that yo...

Not sure if this is entirely true. May be true for Mercy and ST. Thomas Moore. However, St. Aloysious is expanding (I believe) and still turning kids away. From what I hear St Geotge and MBS are at max capacity as well....

Not sure where you get your information but you are misinformed.
I can assure you both branches of service are just as concerned with the appearance of the respective uniforms. In my limited time of service I was unaware that their was a pride in my uniform that was easy to clean???

In the 90's we were treated like any other teams. Although outside of Tiger Stadium or other SEC venues I don't think the home crowd is that hostile towards the visiting team.
I played in a game at UNC and recall being shocked at how docile the crowds was. Of course, I was expecting an LSU type...

D3 athletes uh not quite. Many of the guys on the field today chose to go to the academy over other Div 1 or Div 1A schools. They may not be power 5 conference athletes, but they are capable of playing at other Div 1 schools.
One of my teammates, went on to start at Oregon State after leaving t...

The splitting of reps 50/50 is not with the first string.
My guess is in the scrimmage portion of the practice they are running two huddles with back to back plays against the scout team, which is where the 50/50 split exists and makes practices much more efficient.
I've never seen their pra...
Giving the starting QB only half the snaps in practice seems odd . . .
Not true. They run two huddles. The scout team defense stays on the field. While one huddle is at the line running a play the other huddle is calling a play. This is a very efficient way to get 1st team and ...

In some ways they do. There is the monthly stipend for Hazard Duty Pay when you are in a declared area. Additionally, you don't pay income taxes while you are in a hostile area which means there is approximately 20-25% (didn't look up tax brackets) increase in take home pay during a deployment.

I've been going to LSU games since the 80's and fans leaving early isn't really new. Fans have always left blow out games early. In my opinion you have a perfect storm of the following conditions:
Back in the glory days of Tiger Stadium every game wasn't on TV so they moved along without a gazi...
