What if the 970 Ti and 980 Ti is released within the next 2 months? If Ti edition rumors are true for LiL Maxwell GM104s, glad I only purchased 1 GTX 980. However, I do feel as if my 780 Tis clocked @ 1250+ could keep up with 980s clocked @ 1450. It will be some fun OC'ing with you....

LMAO Sorry LSU IMO, all I purchase is EVGA, they usually OC better, listen to their customers and have great customer support. The only other company I do like to use, and just for their flagship card, the MSI Lightning....
Does anyone on here think that maxing 1080 will require more than 2gb vram going forward? It's being listed as a requirement more often. I know some of it is bad ports but it has become a trend.
Why are you running 1080? For your HTPC/SteamBox? EDT: Joking, I can certainly see op...
f they were possible to find.... I would buy one before I bought the 980s even though I wouldn't have gsync.
I Pre-Ordered from NewEgg, so it came in within 3days of launch. Now I sort of hate this TN, the colors are good, but just not what we are used to with our 1440 Korean IPS dis...

They are all RAW files, remember I shoot a Canon 6D. Edt: Yesterday was the only time, that I noticed, RAM use exceeding 6GB. I compress with the 4930K then throw on the HomeServer. Could you imagine the HS's little i3 4330 2C/4T L3 4MB compressing those files.. Might take a few....

At less go quad, so the i5 is a HUGE plus and also consider the Kingston V300 128GB SSD @ $59.99 and upgrading to a 2x8GB kit. Maybe try out the 2x4GB kit and if you start to bottleneck, you kno the issue....

I used 8.5-10GB of RAM just compressing older pictures into .zip, you want at less 16GB. Now, the dual core, idk man. My HomeServer sports an i3 and its a little slow when deal with large packets of data. At less get a non-K version i5/i7. If you're trying to go cheap, pick up an AMD FX 8320/50 w...

I bought an EVGA GTX 980 straight from NewEgg the Friday morning of release. Within 30mins most had already sold out. Im not expecting much performance difference from my OC'd 780 Ti's compared to these 980s, but now, the 980 REALLY makes things interesting. Before I rebuild my 2014 upgrade for m...

In my experience with 8320/50 chips they run best with an OC on the NB and tighter timings over higher frequencies. Like said the memory controller on this old arcutechture is no doubt a little weak. So shoot for tighter timings with a 4.3-4.5 OC at the core. That will help out single core IPC, ...
Are you getting performance boost with those clocks?
Jesus, hell yeah man. I don't start a game usually without OC the core to 1150. Only games I don't OC on are Indie Titles. EDT: If you want a 7870 back so bad, I'll trade 2 for that 770 or do 7870/cash. The GK104-400-A2 was a...
