re: Explain why drugs and prostitution should be illegal - USMCTiger03
I feel like we're talking apples to rhinoceroses. FWIW, if we're talking pot, that's a different story than other drugs where being an "addict" is a much bigger deal. 2nd FWIW, I don't even know anyone who smokes pot. I wouldn't mind it myself here and there but have no hook up....
Alcohol probably gets more people arrested than all the other drugs combined.
Look at it per use/user (in some omnipotent way) and I'll bet alcohol is infinitely less so....

re: Explain why drugs and prostitution should be illegal - USMCTiger03
Caffeine, tobacco, alcohol. All three are drugs that people become addicted to. Granted people aren't stealing to get these drugs, but still.
Jesus H. Christ. Is that supposed to be an analogy?...
Awful logic. By arresting people and throwing them in jail, you are giving them every day access to hardcore criminals, ergo basically sending them to criminal college on the taxpayer dime when they could be out working to pay for their habit.
But still committing crimes because the...
Man, me and a buddy are discussing this episode and I'm thinking this has to be a top 5 episode. Maybe best ever. The more we talk about it, the better it gets. So much stuff in this episode.
This episode was great, I agree top 5, maybe even the best. Something about a good balanc...

re: Beating somebody up and then feeling bad about it? - USMCTiger03
In Jr High, this one guy - he was decently tough but a complete dumbass. I guess it must have been some kind of pecking order thing or maybe others goaded us into fighting, can barely recall the reason, but I cleaned his clock pretty good. Then a couple weeks later he's fricking with me again. I'm th...

re: Possible life changing decision on the horizon - USMCTiger03
Think about yourself in 5, 10 or 15 years with each option. I think it's much easier to live with "I didn't have as much but I had was always there for my kid" than "I've got all this stuff and career but can never get back the time with my kid". Plus: The negative effects on him. The lim...

It's one of those places that was hopping long ago but stalled out in the early 80s and has been on the decline since. Seems like Pineville is still pretty quaint and there's plenty of outdoor rec things. ...
