I'd pass on Bridgewater unless you were extremely bare at value and need fits. The borderline guys I'd take before him- CBs Fuller, Roby, Verrett LBs Attaochu, Shazier DL Ealy, Nix, Hageman WRs Cooks, Beckham, Lee...

ya, it's all subject to the grade. Let's try an Ebron example: Saints rank Ebron #14 on their Big Board. The next guys remaining are Yankey #23, Nix #25, Amaro #28, Allen Robinson #30, & CB Breelamd #33. That scenario, Ebron without blinking. But if the Saints ranked Ebron #20 in the same...
Possible redshirt rookie year for Colvin?
I don't mind a late pick for injury risk guys like this. Like Greg Romeus... he was a strikeout but worth the whiff just for the chance you connect on a starting player with a late pick. Willis McGahee was a #23 pick cuz it was known he cou...

No position per se would anger me. As long as the player rates then take him. That said, any Center or specialist at #27 would be a reach, so no go. For many other positions it is just one or two that might fall into Must-Pick value range. Like Ebron at TE or Mosley at ILB. You build champion...

No. 1 Team Need: Cornerback Silva's analysis Keenan Lewis emerged as a borderline shutdown corner in his first season with the Saints, but 32-year-old bookend Jabari Greer was a cap casualty, and 2010 first-rounder Patrick Robinson is a bust. re: WR Cody Latimer Report - blueslover
The Saints might swing for the fences a bit more than most teams IMO. Teams look at both the high end ceiling and low end floor of what they think a player can do. Many with the higher upside also have lower downside risk. Brown and Armstead both fit that profile. Brown looked like a whiff at #6...

would be an interesting study to chart the growth of NFL players. If guessing I might say guards. Back in the day they were usually in the 240-260 lb range. Checked the '67 Packers: 6-3 255 & 6-3 245. They're all at least 50 lbs heavier now....

reminds me that I've always thought they should do two 40s at the Combine. The second in full uni & pads starting from a football stance.
