I saw the other board already said Richmond Arms. Great location but gets crowded quickly. Bar Munich in midtown often opens early for matches, and they put a schedule on their site. Not 9am start though.

I'm a fan of the salsa at Guadalajara. Lots of cumin. Green salsa at original Ninfas is good too....

$5/lb at Front Porch Pub. They do boils 4 nights a week. Check their site for dates. Was there Sunday. Ok size. They season their water and not the outside. Flavor could have used more spice, but decent for Houston....

When I was a student 4 years ago they allowed students to enter the stadium any time, even late at night. Haven't heard if that policy had changed or not....

He's giving a free show at Warehouse Live in Houston on the 18th. He's an awesome DJ mixes lots of pop music to rap beats and vice versa....

Last year I had watched the game at the Sherlock's right off 75. Always had a blast, met friendly people. Almost always had ridiculously great beer specials. They set up the back area to show it on a projection screen....

Anyone know who has the best jambalaya in Houston, in the inner loop area? I've always been disappointed with the Cajun food here, but jam shouldn't be too hard. Preferably a place that sells it by quart/gallons. Might have to search and make it myself....

Glad yall made it back with no damages. Yeah, if anyone has any word on midtown power, I'd appreciate it. Also, was there any special routes needed to get back from LA or were the roads open as usual. I'd be coming from BR to midtown....

I go to Miyako's for their happy hour, good deal. Soma, I've heard terrible things, but mainly about their staff.
I need to go to Blue Fish, but lately I've been going to Zake, which is loud and clubby feeling like RA but not nearly as many guys in Affliction shirts....

We'll see what happens with this weekend's series. Got club level seats for Sunday's game as well, thanks to my company. The 'Stros are 2-0 for games I go to (Red Sox and Rangers) so let's hope that trends continues as well....
