Just FYI, Pepsi and Anheuser have deals with the Cowboys as well the as the NFL. I imagine Jerrah's indiscretions will be mentioned next time the sponsorships are up for renewal....

If this game continues the way it is going, the bears may finish with under 100 yards. They have 32 so far in 25 plays....
Why would they not send tape to the NFL? Not sure what you mean by "police purpose" and why that should matter.
The police can't just give evidence away, its a breach of due process and risks any future trial....

I used to work in state government doing investigations of matters involving the police and hospitals, both of whom are supposed to keep everything confidential (apart from what they were legally obligated to provide). Trust me, a lot of shite gets passed unofficially from agency to agency as a heads...

I'm laughing my arse off that the NFL or anyone else deems itself so important they are calling in a former FBI director over this.
There's just something about it that's ridiculous
It's the best league in the nation that has the most sports consumers, and it isn't close.
Yes but no one outside the US cares. Basketball, Soccer and Cricket are all bigger internationally.

If he has any shred of decency left he has to go.
The NFL was asked if they has the video by Jim Trotter of SI 2 months ago. His office said "no comment". Today they denied he'd previously seen it. That denial seemed very suspect to begin with. Goodell went on to act upon the "new evidence" today...

No. He's like 5ft2. He needs money to impress the ladies. Also, his agent tried to renegotiate Wilson's deal after his rookie year, despite the CBA making this impossible. Now he has a ring....

Seattle will get hit by Wilson's contract. After that point they're spending 30m just for Wilson and Harvin and what like 15m each on Thomas and Sherman. You can't spe...

The NFL has been slow. They're also holding off on Aldon Smith's punishment. It could be to research the punishment in light of a possible court of arbitration appeal, or just a deliberate time wasting measure to ensure no appeal can happen before the season. ...
