Been a few years, but one of the best meals and best service I have ever had. Ask for the table in the front bay window looking out at St. Charles. Ate at Bistro Daisy a few months ago, while very good, not on the level of Delmonico IMO....

My Moms side the family it was sweet potatoes with Gumbo everytime. But then my Uncle had a sweet potato farm just outside Opelousas. A little bit of tomato in a seafood gumbo with okra would be OK with me. But I would never cook one that way....
