re: Any gifs of Jamal Adams flop? - Tigercat
he was with godchaux.
Ahh, so that is probably when Godchaux got flagged? For his actions with Adams after the play? He looked like he was pushing Ole Miss guys out the way while "assisting," so that might have been the refs saying they weren't tolerating the ridiculousness. (...

re: Kirk Merritt Mid-Season Highlights - Tigercat
Kirk is awesome, elite athlete, great HS player, and I hope he comes to LSU. But, what worries me about him are similar to worries I had about Trovon Reed in HS. Where does his athletic ability and hybrid skill set project to? At the next level the elite schools have great athletes in every posit...

re: Kevin Sumlin direct quote. LSU related - Tigercat
When you routinely waste first downs by running up the middle
I don't disagree that we should pass it more on first down, but keep in mind we have less success passing the ball in first down than running it. Here are our first down passes yesterday: 1Q: 1st and 10 at LSU 40 A...

re: Harris will be what Perrilloux could've been - Tigercat
With the exception of Perrilloux being more stoutly built they are very similar in terms of talent, arm and instincts.
Disagree. Perrilloux was an athlete, but not as much as Harris is and not in the same way. Perrilloux's instincts in HS were top. He was a 4.75 guy, but he had a...

re: Les' fumble rule - Tigercat
The backup doesn't get benched he gets taken out.
Well think of it this way, if a backup RB or WR is low enough in the pecking order that they are only getting a few plays here and there, are you really going to increase their playing time if they start making mental mistakes? No...

re: Les' fumble rule - Tigercat
Hasn't Miles benched running backs for fumbling during his 10 seasons? Sometimes putting them in the dog house for a couple of weeks. I was wondering why he didn't follow this rule after Jenning's fumble in the first quarter yesterday? Coach has given AJ plenty of opportunity to get o...

re: I've never been one to just call for the backup qb to start, but.... - Tigercat
Jennings starting the game can be an OK decision for the team, if you want to alleviate pressure from Harris and just bring him in a little later. But clearly the right thing right now is for Harris to get the most snaps, one way or another....

re: For Those Who are Convinced Les Calls the Plays - Tigercat
I think Les tells Cam to keep it conservative and not air it out. Les had his best statistical RB ever last year, and yet we still threw the ball ...
Their speakers play crowd noise, ours don't.
Even if that's true, and I've heard no evidence of that at Seahwaks games, that's not the key. re: Keiland Williams update - Tigercat
He was the best RB in 2006 & 2007
No one got a ton of carries in 2006, no one needed to be a workhorse with that QB/WR combination. Hester was used to perfection in 2007. Hard to argue with the results he got, even if Keiland was the more dynamic runner. Williams probably ...
I remember Booty was money and wasn't scared to make the catch across the middle. re: 2007-2008 Hornets named 29th best all time LA team - Tigercat
Turnovers are nearly as important as scoring plays. To ignore them because they are "one stat" isn't far off from ignoring TDs because they are "one stat." In both years the offense was amazing and the defense was vulnerable more often than one would like. But in 2009, the turnovers won games eve...
