re: Barcelona Spain, things to do or see? - Spirit of Dunson
I'll be there next week. I have done no research, just know I am staying in an apartment in Eixample (sic?). I just plan to walk around, eat good food, enjoy the architecture, and hit up some museums. I'll be with the family, so will stay off the Ramblas at night. ...

I get good company matches, but it is to a post tax plan. I can't participate in a pre-tax plan since all earnings are foreign. That doesn't keep the gubmint from applying taxes though!...

re: Airport attire? - Spirit of Dunson
where people determined that wearing normal clothes was somehow "uncomfortable"
maybe they're all fat. :dunno: I'm with you though. If people are so intent on being "comfortable", then why not wear sweats everywhere?...

I always thought sweatpants were pj's. I typically wear khakis or jeans and a button down, but I find that comfortable. I don't really care what others wear though. ...

re: Has anyone ever been to an Opera House? Where should I sit? - Spirit of Dunson
I've only been to oeras at Lincoln center, and I assume every opera house is different. I've sat in the equivalent of zones A, B, and C on your chart. Zone A was my favorite, but not too close. Maybe row 15-20. ...

re: Spinoff: Why Germans work less but produce more - Spirit of Dunson
This article is the truth. There is no grab-ass in my office. My colleagues get in, work, have a coffee break (that is when they chit chat), work, lunch, work, coffee break, work, leave. So, a 9 hr day is about 7.5-8 hrs of real work. No night emails. No facebook. No amazon. No TD. No discussing t...

re: Running early am vs mid am - Question for experienced runners/physiologists - Spirit of Dunson
I wake up every day at 4:30 without an alarm. On early runs, I'll run a 7:40 pace for 6-8 miles. On mid morning runs, I'm running 7:15 or less for the same distance. Sleep time is unchanged, just running a bit later. I think I just feel less stiff and muscles are warmed up more, but I am not a d...
