Clemson was averaging 42.3 pts per game all season. We held them to 25 with 100+ plays or 17.3 pts below their season average.
50 passes and 50 rushes. Imagine if LSU had rushed the ball 50 times. The score would have been 35-17

I think the situations were very different in the 2 games, but my theory is that there is a connection between the Clemson and Bama games. This "whacky" play calling was a knee jerk reaction to not passing in the Bama game to clinch the win and catching hell over it I think.

Clemson got 6 FIRST Downs on penalties. 6 of LSU's penalties resulted directly in first downs and I'm pretty sure LSU would not have given up all 6 to their offense.

The SEC is already the toughest conference in football. The breaks that UGA and Bama have received in regards to scheduling are ridiculous. Permanent opponents is a concept that is no longer needed.

I get the two loss thing, but does anyone really think Oregon, K.State, or ND, could go undefeated against the 6 ranked teams LSU has faced this year?
Especially playing 5 in a row with A&M & Florida on the road.

UGA gets another cush SEC schedule without playing Bama, LSU, or A&M, Bama's schedule is "cream puff" except for LSU & A&M, and OREGON has played NOBODY.
