How many miles on the 02, its a 12 year old truck so take that into a account. I would probably look for something around 5K. I would also look for a Bunk House model, that way the kids have a bed.

Single pin sights all the way...have been shooting with one for a couple seasons now and I wish I would have went to one sooner. The sight picture is so much cleaner.

The dodge HD 2500 are rated for over 3000lbs. There isn't a half ton on the market advertises that much payload ...

I have an 05 Chevy HD with the 6.0 no problems an motor has 140k on it.
But if I was buying new I would look hard at the dodge 2500 with the 6.4 hemi...

Will need a flatbed with a winch for sure. Depending on height of the camp overall height could be an issue.
You will need a permit for anything over 102" wide as well. Won't be much money but if you get stopped without it will be a nice fine. ...

I shoot in my back yard....anything could happen i guess but I try to be as safe as possible. I shoot at my block as well as 3d targets and I also set up a piece of plywood behind the targets.

I have the Escali brush got it off amazon for like 11.00. It did shed a bit when I first got it but I has been a good brush and has held up well over the past 6 months.

Have an 03 90 on the back of my Xpress and the only issue i have had knock on wood has been ethanol gas. The carb job I had done was aroung 350.00. I am now religious when it comes to Marine Stabil in the tank and seafoam every once in a while.

when my 2 kids were around the age of your son I worked...lots of hours, out of town, offshore if they needed someone I jumped on it. Now that my kids are older, I still work in the oil and gas field but I have a flexible schedule.
I do alot of things with my kids now, we hunt we fish we trave...
