Dealers won't come down much on them but the good thing is the their resale is amazingly high. Your best bet to get them a little lower is to play dealers off one another and see of that gets you a little more off. ...

Elbert is an easy walk up, great intro 14er. Not too long, can get pretty crowded on the summit during the summer. Leadville is a really cool town IMO, beautiful area for sure. Not really in the same class of difficulty compare to the other mtns you listed. ...

I've done Westwater Canyon of the Colorado River in Utah, right past the border of Colorado. The canyon itself can be done in a day or as an overnight but you can make it longer by putting in earlier or taking out later near Moab- there's also some cool multi-day trips on the Colorado near Moab. if you are just doing an overnight thing then the 30 will work but you will have to be an efficient packer
if you are doing more than that then I would either get something in between (50 L) or carry the larger pack with compression straps tightened...
