We converted ours and love it. Don't have to worry about how much propane is in the tank, etc.
We just bought the converter at Lowes and it took my husband about 30 minutes to connect. Would never go back to propane.

I stay close to O'Hare several times a year and one that delivers that I like is Sarpino's. Your hotel will probably have a menu for them....

Not much in Crowley (DO NOT GO TO CITY BAR). There is the Geaux Cup but have not been there for years so not sure of the clientel....

This is not the first show in Louisiana. He did one on a place in Mandeville or Covington which specialized in seafood. He gave him a new recipe to boil crawfish but the guy went back to the way he was boiling them once Robert left. Don't remember the name of the place but it was in LA....

250!!! That is what the smoking chart recommended and after 2 hours they were pretty charred! I used to do them on my old smoker for 3 hours and they came out perfect everytime.
Still have the old smoker but guess I will have to go and buy a thermometer - never needed one as on the old smoker a...

For years I had a Brinkman electric smoker that had no temp setting - just plugged it in and let it go. I learned how many hours it took to cook the things I smoked on it.

Freeze it - it freezes fine and heats up great in the microwave.
If you don't want to freeze it I would stir fry with whatever you have lying around....

This sounds along the lines of how my mom used to make it. The crock pot recipe sounded really good but as you stated in a later post the recipe you posted you can slice the roast. I use a chuck when I want it falling apart but i like a rump to slice and use leftovers for sandwiches.

Crock pot idea sounds great. Will give it a try. Should I flour it before browning? For some reason I think my Mom used to flour it then braise it.

My mom used to cook the best beef roast I ever tasted. Alas, never watched how she made it and every one I have ever cooked is dry and tough (I know overcooked). Could someone please tell me the best way to cook a moist, tender rump roast (little less then 4 lbs.).

Fezzo's in Scott is better then the one in Crowley. The one in Crowley used to be good but I think they moved their better chef when they opened in Scott....

There are just two of us and I have an electric one. Personally I love it. I call it the crock pot of smokers - I just put the meat on there and leave it alone - no checking to make sure you have enough wood. I am happy with mine but I am not a smoker expert who has tried lots of different kinds....

Unfortunately, speaking from experience (I lost my dad and mom within 7 months of each other) here are the things that went over the best:
1. Baked ham with rolls for sandwiches.
2. Crawfish bread
3. One neighbor the day before the funeral brought over paper plates, plastic cups, forks, kniv...

It has been several years since I had my surgery but reading these threads I do remember at first everything I ate went straight through me! I was concerned but it did not last long.
Don't even notice a difference now....

Have not had any issues with any kinds of foods. Actually felt so much better after the surgery. No more of the full feeling and quesiness. No food restrictions at all!

Have stayed in Vegas many times for both business and pleasure. Have stayed at many different hotels but my favoriet is the Monte Carlo-not for the food but for the location and price. Their suites are usually very reasonable....

It should be fine because really all you are doing is heating it up. I threw mine in the freezer (they freeze well) and will take it out a day or two before Christmas....

That's a good price - just bought one at Winn Dixie on sale and paid $1.79 lb. Usually they average $2.29 lb....

1 lb. ground beef (part pork if desired).
1 cup raw rice
1 large onion chopped
2 pieces celery chopped
1 small bell pepper chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
Combine all of the above ingredients. Roll into cabbage leaves.
Place rolls in roaster, pour over them...
