Chili would work. I'd suggest adding some deadly bacteria (don't you eat it). This will create vacancies at your company and increase your upward mobility.
Well I'm technically their boss already. I consider them peers though....
Because its way better than everything Texas except for bbq.
I'd argue that TX has far superior Asian options. But as far as things that are considered "Texas" food I'd have to agree with you....

Guess you have a point there. I'll have to step up my game. I'm used to cooking Louisiana food for native Texans and now I have to impress people that know what they're eating....
Why not gumbo AND chili?
It's only going to be a handful of people. That's a lot of effort. I do everything from scratch and take my time with it....
Russell Wilson is the closest thing to a scrambling quarterback to ever win a super bowl. That same Sehawks defense lost to a qb with no mobility the following year.
Meh I don't think Brady really did anything that special. Carrol gifted them the game at the end. Wilson IMO i...

re: San Juan , Puerto Rico help . - Powerman
I'm no expert obviously but I do remember dining at a place called Ostra Cosa. That was 13 years ago. If I bothered to remember the name of the place (consider it was also my 21st birthday and I erased a few brain cells) it must be pretty good. They had a nice courtyard area outside. Very fres...

Having some coworkers over for dinner soon - suggestions - Powerman
Most of these guys are from Louisiana and we're in Texas right now. What would be more appropriate? Louisiana food like a Gumbo or should I whip up something more Texas themed like a Chili or some Tex Mex? I don't think it really matters either way as they'll be grateful. They just want to s...

re: Restaurants that won't cook burgers medium rare - Powerman
One of the things that no one is taking into account is the fat content. A rare or med rare burger only makes sense if you have lean ground beef The fat needs to be rendered for it to taste good. Unrendered fat in a burger is disgusting....

re: Cafe Habana - Cuban restaurant planned for NOLA - Powerman
One of my close friends in high school had parents that were first generation Cuban immigrants. I've had a handful of home cooked Cuban dinners at their house. As far as whether or not this place is authentic...I really don't care. Things don't necessarily have to be traditional or authentic to...
