I recall that a few years after Bevan graduated and went on to law school and finished, he was representing an LSU player (forgot who) that was trying to get on the Houston Oilers (Tenn. Titans). Sports Illustrated carried a short note about Houston's response to the effect that they had no interes...

My parents met there. Both graduated from there and my Dad taught there for over 30 years and was Distinguished Alumni Professor of the year back in the mid 70's.
Went to home games beginning at age 6, graduated from there and from med school in Shreveport.

I sat in the south upper deck for the Bert Jones to Brad Davis throw. South upper deck has been there since I was a child in the 50's.
In that era LSU faculty could buy season tickets for 4 in the upper deck for a dollar per ticket.

If you show up on your appointed court date and the issuing officer doesn't, then you may have it thrown out in some jurisdictions because the only witness besides you is missing.
But might be better off asking for driving school. It costs about the same but the ticket does not go on your record...

Spurrier.
His manner of running up scores and his sarcasm far exceed anything Saban has done on a routine basis.
Both are great coaches; would not have been unhappy to see either come to LSU, but I like Saban's overall approach to coaching better....

Duke, which cannot compete often in football in the ACC would be a total loss in the SEC. Why would they even think about it?
They are a national power in BB regardless of conference affiliation so why drag your FB team into a conference beyond their reach?
