Even if a deer steps in them the shape of their foot allows them to pull out fairly easily. It has happened that where they have to be released but it is very very rare.

I was lucky this year with only 1 mangy yote. Kind of pissed me off, was my fourth one of the morning. Had already pulled three of them and I walk up and only see blue/green eyes shinning back at me. In thick enough brush I couldn't see outline. Since no yellow eyes I'm thinking cat. Walk back grab ...

This works great. I can use this to remove the smell from a skunk pelt. Doesn't mask the smell it destroys it. Just keep away from eyes....

The yellowing mostly comes from fat within the bone rising to the surface. This can be all but eliminated if time is taken to properly degrease them. A little time consuming but pretty easy and cheap....

See more of them in spoonies than anything else but mallard will come in second. I get enough duck without taking a chance on one. I know its safe to eat if cooked well but can't bring myself to try it....

Conservation goose hunting if doing a goose sneak. I trap for several farmers so I can normally get permission to goose hunt there. Had multiple 100 plus days with a high in the mid 300s....

For a lot of info check out something like trapperman.com I don't know what size traps are legal in your area but yotes are actually not that hard to trap, if you have patience. A dirthole set is probably my favorite set in my area. That kind of varies though based on where you live....

No IST for me but I did run trapline this morning. Had a huge yote pull the stake as I was walking up. Kind of feeling sick, hate loosing a trap but really hate having an injured animal running around....

I had Spaight as a student for a year and his little brother for two. This kid was raised right and comes from a good family.
He should be very good for us. He was a better player in high school than Rogers who is playing at Okie state. I can't wait to see what he can do....

I've had my car broken into 3 times and my house once. Looks like I'll be keeping my guns just in case thanks. Mag restrictions are dumb. With speed loaders today even shotguns can be reloaded in a matter of seconds. Mag restrictions would limit freedom without increasing safety....

My goose gun holds 6 3in shells. Shorten the barell to 12 inches or so for wider pattern and use something like 2 or 0 shot and I can kill that many in under 2 minutes. Thats just 1 classroom, let me into the next after a 20 second reload at the longest and I'm moving on. Btw that highly illegal mod...

Nat gear seems to work the best where I hunt. I didn't like it when buddies started wearing it years ago, seemed like a gimick. But after hunting together for a few years and realizing that the nat gear was harder to spot I became a convert. But I'll wear anything if its cheap enough....

Get either 110 conibear traps or even just some rat traps. Peanut butter mixed with corn on trigger. Screw trap to long stick or board leaned up against one of your trees. Dead tree rats, make sure its high enough or a retarded cat will find a way to get stuck....
