Exploitative... because it acts on approaching those people close to you in your life? Why unethical? Are some MLM's more ethical than others, or less exploitative?...

I can understand that. I guess my thoughts just are money goes to one place or another and if someone likes the products then spend the money. But I can definitely see the guilt tripping and nagging getting aggravating...

re: Amway and other multi-level marketing/pyramid schemes - lsufisherman
So my question is why are MLMs necessarily bad Mary Kay, pampered chef, and other products like that are seemingly very good products. So if someone desires to sell those products via direct marketing or whatever, why is that bad. It's one thing to be in a MLM that doesn't have a real product ...

re: Irish Nuns Buried 800 babies in their care at a Women/Children Home - lsufisherman
Not to be unsympathetic to the grimness of the story, but it does not say anything relating to the death of these children. It merely states that there was a mass grave of 800 children (yes very grim indeed), but it does not state that the catholic church, nuns, or anybody else murdered or did not c...

Set by the government in the fact that they use the current market rate. And as long as you fall withing their parameters of annual income and credit score you should be able to be approved. Each of your lending companies are vying for the same individuals, so the rate should not be different be...

The property damage has been settled but I don't remember signing a release. Even so, isn't there opportunity to reopen/ask for recompense? From what I'm reading, insurance companies don't advertise this when dealing with claims and you have to almost force it. I had never heard of it before and...
