 | re: Anyone with Partition of Licitation experience? (Plaintiff) - CharleyLake on 6/11/13 at 6:04 am Thanks rmc,
There was an offer to purchase the real estate.
There are multiple owners. I discovered that a non-family member purchased three percent about 30 years ago by paying delinquent taxes.
Conceptually a judge could do a Partition in Kind where the three percent owner would be awarded a...

 | Anyone with Partition of Licitation experience? (Plaintiff) - CharleyLake on 6/10/13 at 7:30 pm Is it a private or public sale? I have heard both.
Is a lawyer necessary to bid?
Typically how much cash is necessary at the sheriff's sale?
Any other guidance will be appreciated....

 | re: Identify this songbird - CharleyLake on 5/2/13 at 6:40 am I appreciate yall's response. My reference is George Lowrery's Louisiana Birds.
The birds were observed in Lake Charles. The male did have some areas of white on the face and they both have brownish upper bodies and lighter bellies.
The beaks look to be light yellow. I could not see an eye ring....

To be clear the 10.4 100m in Lafayette was NOT laser timed. You may recall when Jai Eugene was running all of those 10.25's and 10.3's hand-held times in high school his proponents said that his time was accurate. Barbe's Trey Harts(10.6 consistent elec. times) walked him down at the stat...

Last month I had one acre (of an 80 acre parcel) "bullhogged" at a deep discounted rate because the company was moving their equipment away from the area. The thought occured to me that there might be a small value for the timber. I could identify water oak, swamp white oak, maple ...

 | re: Make first settlement offer or not? - CharleyLake on 1/29/13 at 4:49 pm Good points. It is a narrow linear tract that arguably could have been used for another pipeline. A Circle K would be a stretch. Damages could be recompensed for ill-gotten gains. I may get enough out of it to afford a duck and goose lease or keep up my TAF fees. Thanks for your comments....
