Cheap or something nicer? Shangri La is fairly cheap and a great place to stay on Lake Ouachita.. Plenty of trails that you can decide for yourself on which ones to hike....

Help with Lawn - tcomea3
I need help with my lawn. I have three very tall and thick oaks in the back yard that basically shade my entire yard in the afternoon. I have several spots that basically slowly thin out and then are bald by the end of the summer. I have tried to let the grass grow taller, but between the dog and...

re: No Ducks - tcomea3
IMO the duck season along the coast is way too early. They should open it from late December through the end of February. We are just starting to see decent duck numbers at our lease and there is only one weekend of season left.
I hear your point and mostly agree with it; however, ...

re: Ban on permanent duck blinds and leaving decoys overnight - tcomea3
I have a "blind" but it I'm probably moving it to an oxbow in Arkansas after this season My FIL has a camp out there and the hunting in front of his camp is better than the blind hunting so I hunt from land almost everytime. It's going to present a huge problem for several people I know that ...

re: Home warranty companies - tcomea3
I had a pretty bad experience with American Home Shield to say the least. I am not sure which is worse; AHS or there "contractors". Basically I had an AC inside unit go out and needless to say the total that I would've had to come out of pocket roughly $1800 because of "non-covered items (I.e- ...

re: Louisiana Boat Trailer Registration - tcomea3
Okay… So I just went through this with the boat I bought. You will need your father-in-law to go get the registration certificate for the trailer. If he doesn't have the registration certificate he needs to go back to the place where he bought it from and get a bill of sale from them. Once you h...

re: Crawfish farmers got their wish. - tcomea3
I'm not one to be confrontational, but the reality is farmers have a commodity that is well liked and therefore always has a demand. If you could make more money for less quantity every person in their right mind would do it; unless you are just stupid when it comes to business. Farmers are just li...

It is holding up really well!! No complaints.. We have added a few things since that pic but nothing extravagant.. New roof and supports bc the old sheets warped (expected) and built in a dog ramp out of the front on hinges.. Here is a pic of it brushed and with the new dog ramp. [img]http://i680...

re: Let's Talk About Floating Blinds on 55 Gal Drums - tcomea3
Here is one a friend and I designed and built.. It has 6 55 gallon drums.. The two upright barrels are partially filled to act as a counterbalance for the weight when we are in the blind.
