I'm just going by his demeanor on the field last night. I realize he's playing with a bit of extra fire being from LC. He reminded me of a baseball version of Henderson, not exactly like Henderson. Not many are on that guy's level....

Mathis did remind me of Henderson. They go with the loose pants and unbuttoned jersey as a designation of a tough, scrappy, loose team. But it just looks sloppy....

That's the Hal's Hair Reflections special.
He spoke so glowingly of LSU during that extended postgame and analysis that he was probably uncomfortable answering LSU again to that final question. Not surprised his hair and being complimentary of Vandy is the news on the Rant....

Unless you really need the cash right away for some reason, Coinstar for a 0% charge on an Amazon credit is the way to go. Getting a coffee and dumping $600 in coins into that machine sounds like a good time to me....

Earlier poster pointed out- Alex Rodriguez at Miami is the best example of this non-issue.

Starting in 2014, the Chick-fil-A is one of the six major bowl games, and those games are played with a triple header on New Year's Eve and a triple header on New Years Day. So only one more season until "playing in the Chicken bowl" and "not even playing in January" are a thing of the past....

Had the day off and drove over from BR this morning. Went through some hellacious weather on I-10. Graduation Day here (but they mentioned that last night). Kyle Field was open all the way to the tunnel gate.

Enjoy starting the books. I fizzled out on the first third of book 4, but I'm trying to catch up, fueled mostly by the spoiler/theory threads on this board I want to click on.
For me, the wait during the later seasons of The Shield was brutal....

That was a weird one because it really didn't feel like #1 vs. #3. That 12-0 on the videoboard at the end was a great moment though. Plus it was at 1:30, and you don't usually see day games listed for the best atmosphere outside of '03 Georgia....

Yeah I'm looking forward to the 2014 conference schedule coming out. The September non-conference games will probably set an attendance record, but there won't be much atmosphere. Would be great if Sept. 20th was a huge early season conference game.
