re: Camping in Biloxi marsh - man in the stadium
That's always been my thought process as well, but having heard it mentioned several times recently has captured my interest. I've never really seen any dry ground out there besides oyster banks and one change in wind direction submerges most of those....

Camping in Biloxi marsh - man in the stadium
Recently in the last month I have heard several instances of people camping out in Biloxi marsh. I was only aware of the designated "campground" I the wma, if you can call it that. I am curious: where are people camping out there? Random shell banks? The bugs are terrible in Shell Beach/Hopedale...h...

re: Legal? FEMA to withhold funds for "climate change denial" states. - man in the stadium
What I don't understand about the "denier" states is the all-out denial of not only cause but also occurrence...take Louisiana for example: Louisiana's coastal planning documents all include assumptions for sea level rise rates but the state makes no claims as to CAUSE of sea level rise. Best of bo...

Under 20k, boat, double axle magic tilt, 150 Japanese 4-stroke on the back. No electronics or troll motor in that figure though. To add to my previous post (not an exaggeration): one time out in bastion bay I was putt putting around an old camp and reef looking for any bait signs. Waves were a li...

re: Stupid Boat Question: Aluminum vs. Fiberglass - man in the stadium
I was at the same dilemma many years ago.went with 22 ft alum Scullys with spray liner...never regreted it. I've run over so many stumps, oyster reefs, posts, pilings etc and never worried a moment. Invaluable in Louisiana as it is not a matter of if, but when you run into submerged shite inshore fis...
And you'd have to dredge the River four times a week to keep it open to vessel traffic. How is this different from now? Top
Considering its already dredged constantly below head of passes, not at all. side note: the post sandy work in the NE has tied up all the dredges and t...

LSU has already deviated from its renderings...nutrition center nowhere to be found in renderings, but going up in old Alex Box lot.
