re: Restaurant Recs in Little Rock Arkansas - TigerGrl73
Local Lime
Bravo! And BlackenedOut deducts points from you? Pfftt. Little Rock dining has changed a lot since I've lived there, so with the exception of Local Lime, I tend to stick to old faves when I visit like Damgoode Pies, Trio's, Sim's BBQ, and Igibon. ...

re: Best Website For Booking Hotel Room - TigerGrl73
I've heard horror stories about disappearing reservations/refunds/etc when booking through the 3rd party sites like hotels.com
Never have run into that, and I've booked tons of nights on hotels.com, priceline, and hotwire. I rarely book hotel rooms directly. ...

re: Marcello's in NOLA - TigerGrl73
But they have really good bread
would it be able to accommodate larger parties (somewhere in the 10-14 range)?
They have space in the back and there was actually a party of about 10 in the front last night, but you would need to plan ahead. They are constantly busy. ...

re: Marcello's in NOLA - TigerGrl73
I love Marcello's but last night they pissed me off by not bringing bread. Eventually we asked for it and we got old stale stuff. Later as we were finishing, other tables got the good bread. If you are out, just tell me. Don't just skip it like you don't usually serve it or worse, serve me crap....

re: Give me your best recipe and ideas for sliders - TigerGrl73
Don't overlook the bread as a potential for creativity
I had a delicious roasted butternut squash slider (don't remember all of the specifics, it was awhile back) at Wayfare, and they used a mini pretzel bun: [img]http://noblepig.com/images/2012/12/Havarti-and-Ham-Sliders-rolls.jp...
