Overall, I liked the film. The cast was great and I don't mind them using Khan. But, much of the last 30 minutes was predictable....

I agree. I knew Kirk would be brought back to life via Khan's blood. That's why the death scene in this film had no effect on me....

Ole Miss was about to go on probation, so no one at the time knew who would be the next Ole Miss coach (Brewer going to be let go) and Cutcliffe hit it off with Peyton. I'm sure Cooper's injury played a part, but the turmoil surrounding the pending probation played a big part....

Star Wars premiered on HBO in 1982 and Empire was re-released to theaters in November of 1982. It was great leading into the release of Jedi in 1983. However, Jedi didn't get released to video until sometime in late 1985 if memory serves....

I think that 20th Century Fox made the decision, but I prefer the extended cut. The first time I saw it was on CBS when it was first shown on network TV around 1990. I didn't know about, so it was a pleasant surprise....

I really liked License to Kill as well. It's a darker Bond film, but a welcome change of pace from Roger Moore. I liked theme song as well.
