Summer Sausage - cnote
We've never kept much summer sausage around the house for whatever reason. But over the holiday's I had some great venison summer sausage that someone brought out to the deer camp. Anyone have any recommendations for brands or online specialty meat stores that you like for summer sausage?...

re: Gumbo Recipe - step by step - cnote
There are many methods for gumbo. I picked a couple of recipes that I thought looked good and started practicing with a combination of the two. I've cooked a large pot of gumbo around 7-8 times now and the last three or so have been fairly consistent as I've ironed out the ratios of the ingredients....

re: Fogo de Chao, Dallas Brazilian Steakhouse - cnote
Thanks for all the replies. I have never eaten at a Brazilian steakhouse so I'll give it a shot. I'll be in town with my father for the Cowboys game and plan on taking him out for dinner the night before. I know he's definitely never been to a place like this. It will be a new experience if nothing ...

He had no offensive line his first couple of years. I think he lost 3 or 4 QB's to injuries his first year. I don't think the starter that year made it through the first game either. ...

[quote]He is the starter now and third on the team in tackles. By the end of the season, he could lead the team in that category. As a Cowboys fan who watches every week, he has turned into one of our more reliable players. Anyway, Bradley Dale Peveto should be just fine as the Safeties coach at U...

To my knowledge he was co-defensive coordinator in title only...Mallory ran the defense. He is a pretty good recruiter with most of his contacts being in east Texas. IMO he's a lot like Miles being that he is a good guy, loyal (to a fault sometimes), and is probably more respected in the coaching...

re: BCS "fix" question - the "+1" - cnote
I think a +1 system would seed the top four teams, most likely using BCS standings. One bowl gets a 1 vs 4 matchup, another bowl gets a 2 vs 3 matchup...the winners meet in the championship game a week later. Not sure why a team would ever get a bye....
