| Food and Drink Board|| re: Gumbo Recipe - step by step - cnote on 12/16/13 at 9:08 pm|
There are many methods for gumbo. I picked a couple of recipes that I thought looked good and started practicing with a combination of the two. I've cooked a large pot of gumbo around 7-8 times now and the last three or so have been fairly consistent as I've ironed out the ratios of the ingredients....

Thanks for all the replies. I have never eaten at a Brazilian steakhouse so I'll give it a shot. To my knowledge he was co-defensive coordinator in title only...Mallory ran the defense. He is a pretty good recruiter with most of his contacts being in east Texas.
IMO he's a lot like Miles being that he is a good guy, loyal (to a fault sometimes), and is probably more respected in the coaching...

| Tiger Rant|| re: BCS "fix" question - the "+1" - cnote on 12/8/11 at 9:03 am|
I think a +1 system would seed the top four teams, most likely using BCS standings. One bowl gets a 1 vs 4 matchup, another bowl gets a 2 vs 3 matchup...the winners meet in the championship game a week later. Not sure why a team would ever get a bye....

I do whole beef tenderloins on the grill from time to time. The only thing I use is salt and pepper...no injections, rubs, etc. I grill with the top open (not sure why, just the way I was taught) and keep the temp down on one side of the grill. Place the tenderloin on the grill so that the smaller e...
