it is projected to go right around Memphis.
Also, this weekend in Memphis is the Memphis Music and Heritage Fest which is free on Main St.
It is also Cochon which is a Porkand Bourbon festival. Cochon is on the pricey side though....

i've been in memphis for a while now and lived in most of the areas mentioned in the post... midtown, downtown, u of m area, high point, etc.
crime is everywhere so i am not sure whey people say it only happens in the city and not the suburbs. the scariest thing in the city is to see someone all...

One of memphis' best bands is playing. John Paul Keith and the 1,4,5's. They are on Fat Possum's spinoff label Big Legal Mess records. They took Austin by storm at SXSW a few years back. Think Chuck Berry meets Doug Sahm.
Check them out. Trust me you won't regret it. ...

every type of marinade needs some type of acid. vinegar, wine, citrus juice, most juices, etc. without the acid, little or no flavor will penetrate the meat, chicken, fish, or whatever.
