Anybody have any feedback on these? I need to replace my existing one-speed, 1HP pump, and was wondering if the potential energy savings would be worth the additional cost.
I do have a pump timer and typically run the pump 8 hours over night and 2 hours during the day.

As the others have said, first take a sample to your local pool store and have them analyze it.

Try Ivy's on Government Street (closer to downtown). I just bought some replacement parts there for my Toro over there, and they had them in stock. Try calling them if you aren't close to downtown....

Get the TiVo app if you have a TiVo. Also, look into getting an Apple TV if you want to stream all your media through your TV/stereo, and use the iPad to control it. The Weber Grill app is pretty good too....

Living in SE Baton Rouge, I'd say my lawn (St. Augustine) is looking as good as I've ever seen it. June was pretty dry, but with all the rain in July, the grass is as thick and green as I've ever seen it....

Buy the extra seat and bring your car seat. Worked great for us a few months ago for a 21-month-old. Also, try to schedule the flight at nap time, or try to keep your kid awake until getting on the plane. Bring small toys and try to make it seem more like a car ride....
