Yep, it is. This is our second time coming this summer. Lots of stuff for the kids to do, and it's close to Mandeville if you need to go out for anything. Highly recommended....

Had the food cooked and got inside the camper before the storm hit. It rained a lot but the ground was dry here so it should soak it up....

Where do you live and what type of grass?
I live in Baton Rouge and have all St. Augustine grass. I typically put Weed & Feed down in April (when the grass starts growing) and in late July (to keep the late summer weeds, particularly Virginia Buttonweed, from taking over late in the summer). I'...

My wife and I have two young kids also. We have a one year old Forest River V-Cross travel trailer, and the model we bought was mainly due to kid considerations.
One, we got a "bunk house" floor plan, so the kids have their own room at the back of the camper. Second, the bathroom has an exterio...

Whatever you decide to do to combat it, start ASAP. That stuff spreads fast. In my yard, it usually pops up in mid July, so I started fighting it about 2 weeks ago.
Two years ago, I didn't pay attention to it until the end of August, and it had consumed huge areas of my back yard.

That's Virginia Buttonweed. Check out this thread where it's discussed:
| Outdoor Board|| re: Yard question... Can you spray for clover right now? - DrewTheEngineer on 8/8/14 at 9:05 am|
As others have said, it could likely be Virginia Buttonweed. Google it and compare the images.
I get it in my backyard every summer, usually around mid-July. I put Weed N Feed down in back in March, and did another dose about 2 weeks ago. Spray Ortho Weed-Be-Gone directly on the patches and pu...

| Outdoor Board|| re: Camper Insurance - DrewTheEngineer on 8/1/14 at 12:41 pm|
As others have said, your auto insurance should cover the camper while you are towing.
Try USAA for the extra coverage (i.e. stationary coverage)....

Lots of good advice in here.
A co-worker of mine mentioned recently that he rented a camper. Have you looked into that? It might give you an idea of what you need and don't need before you buy.
| O-T Lounge|| re: For those who have had LASIK; was it worth it? - DrewTheEngineer on 7/31/14 at 8:48 am|
I had it done 12 years ago when I was 30. I have noticed no degradation in my vision in the 12 years hence. I'm sure the lasers are even more precise now.
Best money I ever spent. I hated dealing with contact and glasses. Too bad most insurances won't pay for it.
ETA: I also am a bit more ...
