Again, I don't know, and don't pretend to.
I would not consider myself to have been a regular fan since the days of CJ and Shaq.

 | How far has LSU Basketball fallen? - KnoxvilleBerryTiger on 3/20/13 at 9:12 pm I remember the good years under Brown, and the drought after, until our recent final 4 run. I thought we were back. But we weren't. And we aren't.
When will we be?
Shoiuldn't it be reasonable to expect LSU to make it in to a field of 60+ teams about every year?
I really have quit followi...

 | Do you see a way out of this spending? - KnoxvilleBerryTiger on 3/6/13 at 8:56 pm [link=(http://www.usdebtclock.org/)]LINK[/link]
It looks like we spend $1000 every 1-2 seconds.
Yet, the debt seems to be going up by several thousands in the same time frame. Is this because wwe are borrowing 4 out of every 10 dollars spent, and the interest is swallowing us whole?
BTW, B...

 | re: Some Interesting Facts on Welfare in the United States; Is it a Talking Point? - KnoxvilleBerryTiger on 3/6/13 at 8:46 pm seeing that pension approximates defense is very troubling
And although it is not surprising that healthcare accounts for 1 out of 4 dollars, it is equally troubling.
I wonder what the founders of our once great nation would have thought if we told them that just under 250 years later 1 out of...

 | re: Some Interesting Facts on Welfare in the United States; Is it a Talking Point? - KnoxvilleBerryTiger on 3/6/13 at 8:29 pm concern here is twofold:
1. The cost of entitlements on a per person basis
for all entitlements they are eligible to receive
2. The notion that those receiving entitlements is increasing notably.
The number eligible has no bounds if you are deemed poor enough.
I had a discussion recently...

 | It's not the Republicans, but the Dems that are digging their own hole - KnoxvilleBerryTiger on 3/4/13 at 8:34 pm Allow me to cut through the noise for a bit.
Sure, the Republicans leaders have became distant and inept. This takes its toll on the party. They are a big letdown.
But, now that sequestration is in effect, the monkey is on the Democrats back.
Why?
Because they are politicizing a very s...
