I hate to be a stickler here, but don't divert your attention from Alien. You should be in total observation (mesmerized) mode. Watch it at night. Turn the lights off. Get in front of the big screen you got and into the movie....

Aliens = The Macho Man's Movie
Predator = The Neanderthal's Movie
Even though the Predator series is a great watch, never equate it with the Alien franchise....

Alien is my favorite movie of any movie ever made and I'm a movie buff. IMO, it was the best-directed, best-cinemagraphed, best-scored, best-written, best-casted movie simply because it was all of the above in the same movie.
