re: Chest pains keeping me up - pleading the fifth
Keep waiting around for the big one and: A) you'll be dead B) you'll have ischemic cardiomyopathy with an EF of 15% and won't be able to walk to the bathroom without shortness of breath C) you'll wind with emergency bypass surgery which may result in both A and/or B Your symptoms fit unstabl...

OKC will lose Wednesday - pleading the fifth
Minnesota basically locked up the #1 lottery chance tonight with a loss and NYK win. OKC defense is a sieve. Lavine drops 40, Wiggins posterizes Stephen "70's porn star moustache" Adams, and KG suits up one last time en route to victory. I'm calling it now. Pels win anyway but just to add insult...

re: Are you smarter than a Singaporean 14-year-old? - pleading the fifth
I think it's safe to eliminate the single dates (18 and 19) because Bernard would immediately know her birthday based on the list but he explicitly states he didn't know at first. So the date will be the 14th, 15th, 16th, or 17th. Working on the month....

If it was May 19th then why did Bernard say he didn't know at first?...

re: Are you smarter than a Singaporean 14-year-old? - pleading the fifth
So Albert knows the month - one of only 4 months listed (May, June, July, August) Bernard knows the day - one of 6 days listed (14-19) That's all I got so far...

re: A child, a rusty nail, and Rand Paul - pleading the fifth
Maybe this is a Hi-jack but I'll ask anyway....Here in Malaysia, muslims are VERY strict on medical practices. In this scanario a shot would be warranted. What would the state/fed say to a muslim, in the US, who has the same practice? Muslims believe everything happens for Allah, much like ot...

re: Rand Paul: College tuition should be a tax writeoff - pleading the fifth
Looks like he is talking about personal deductions over the course of their working careers. Perhaps incentivizing college kids to work. Seems the parents claiming deductions angle wouldn't work as well....

re: A child, a rusty nail, and Rand Paul - pleading the fifth
The parent is the current state of American politics, the child is America, the "healing power of nature" is the status quo, and Rand is the doctor who the parents refuse to turn to despite his ability to save the child?
Funny stuff right there...

re: A child, a rusty nail, and Rand Paul - pleading the fifth
So the analogy is about vaccines? Apples and oranges. Receiving a vaccine is not an emergency or life saving procedure. While it highly recommended and not receiving one may end up causing the child to face a life or death situation, it still is entirely elective. Now you may not be able to enrol...

re: A child, a rusty nail, and Rand Paul - pleading the fifth
What analogy are you trying to make? In your scenario the child needs medical care and neglect of that by the parents warrants arrest and prosecution. The rights of religious freedom to impact medical decisions does not apply to minors. A minor or their parents cannot refuse emergency medical ca...

re: What does it mean that Jrue was playing with pain last night? - pleading the fifth
It is certainly possible that a stress reaction (precursor to a stress fracture) can get worse by playing on it. Ultimately it can lead to a situation where a bone is weakened to the point it can fully fracture - think of Louisville's Kevin Ware's injury against Duke a few years back. That was likel...

re: First head transplant volunteer could experience something "worse than death" - pleading the fifth
Can you put just a head on cardiopulmonary bypass? I guess technically it's possible but you would have to cannulate both carotid arteries and I'm guess the jugulars. But then comes the issue of the spinal cord. You can't simply transect the spinal cord and reattach it. Depending on the level of...

re: Pels (90) vs. Suns (75) - FINAL Pelicans win!! - pleading the fifth
Anderson was actually a surprise on defense. I think he had two blocks in a relative short period of time. Also had a few tips that just didn't go in. His shot is broken right now and I'm not sure why. He needs some psychotherapy or something to get it out of his head. To have any chance against GS ...
