| Outdoor Board|| re: Let's talk lawn care. - nogoodjr on 2/19/14 at 12:32 pm|
I assume your grass is still dormant. I don't do anything. I have no weeds growing in mine. I'm not a big fan of pre-emergent herbicides. If you have trees in your yard, it can possibly damage them. If you have a ton of weeds, a healthy lawn is the best way to get rid of them. Healthy St. Augu...
combined 18 mpg
I wish. I purchased the ecoboost and love the torque and the truck but fuel mileage is not close to that. Combined is 16 ish. Hwy is 17.5-18 at 75. The only way to get 20mpg is 55-60 mph. Who drives that speed on the interstate?...
| Outdoor Board|| re: Anyone ever de-thatch St. Augustine lawn? - nogoodjr on 2/17/14 at 5:42 pm|
Early to mid march while grass is still somewhat dormant, cut it low. Actually scalp it some. This will give you access to de-thatch. Next dethatch it with rake or mower attachment until soil is slightly disturbed. Bag all debris removed. Next fertilize with 13.13.13. Wait 30-45 days and fertili...

| Outdoor Board|| re: Best time of year to buy hunting land in Louisiana or Mississippi? - nogoodjr on 2/7/14 at 4:50 pm|
Get to know someone in the timber industry. Timberland is regularly sent out in mass emails to all timber buyers. Many of these tracts are priced to sell immediatly. Anything marketed as hunting land or listed by a realtor will be over priced (in my opinion).
I don't believe timing is super i...

Regular doxycycline is dissolved and absorbed in the stomach. Doryx contains specially enteric-coated pellets of doxycycline that pass through the stomach and dissolve only after reaching the small intestine. This helps to reduce gastrointestinal irritation.

| Outdoor Board|| re: Want to build a large capacity feeder. I need suggestions - nogoodjr on 1/29/14 at 2:09 pm|
The feeders are constructed of the same material as a kayak. I doubt any squirrels are chewing through a kayak.
That being said, we have used the 600lb feeders from academy with the built in ladder. They have performed well.

Here us one for 92.00. Since you didn't mention a caliber, I chose a short action, but they have long action models as well. As far as gun length, I do think shorter is better with kids. Will they handle the weapon when hunting or you? Will they have a good rest to shoot from? At that age I wo...

Saw this at SCI convention. It's genius. 3 biggest problems with feeders are 1. Filling them up in the air
2. Not enough volume, have to refill often
3. Coon's spin or hogs bump feeders and dispense feed.
This feeder eliminates all those p...
