re: Mako Pro 17 Skiff CC - stewie
I'd love to throw a poling platform on the back of one and give it a try in the marsh. It seems like a great marsh boat but I can't say I have any experience with it. Mako did make great boats...not sure about the ones out there now. To me, the just seem very over priced. I was out there walk...
Anyone know what they run brand new? Looking at the 18' Evo.
I don't know about the Evo, but I priced the other 18' model about a year ago and it was $27K. That was with a 90 Yamaha, poling platform, trim tabs, hydraulic steering, bait well, trailer, and a pretty basic electron...

re: Boat Questions. OB Brethren Wanted. - stewie
What length are you looking for? 15k should buy you an 17-20' CC from the years o 2008 - older. Check out Natic Star, tidewater, mako, champion, ranger etc. I'd suggest looking into a Panga...this board seems to shun them though. A glass boat will probably be chaper than a aluminum boat....
you guys lack the legal acumen
That's a bold statement...
rebeloke
I think this issue isn't as clear as you may perceive it to be. While there may be valid legislation on the use of active uniforms by civilians, that legislation may very well not be co...

I'll bring the 8 wt but I think it has a little too much muscle ... I guess I feel it's not as sporting as landing a good fish on a 5 wt or less. Right now, I'm looking at the Clearwater rod and possibly the Clearwater reel. 7'6 5 wt Any other suggestions?...
