So anyone that was still on the Allen train ready to admit he sucks? - bonethug0108
He has been a HUGE problem all year. Wrong guy got fired first. If Payton doesn't fire Allen at the end of the year the he needs to get fired. That goes for the whole defensive staff as well....

We're not tanking and while we might be bad right now we aren't Bears bad. - bonethug0108
We had a drive at the end of every game so far to tie the game or take the lead. We are playing hard. We just aren't playing well enough to win games. It's looking a lot like last year, which has me worried for the rest of the season. But it's not over yet. We started 0-4 the bounty year and came...

What did we fix from week one and what broke week two? - bonethug0108
Some of the things we did better were sticking with the run more, not letting the QB break contain with stupid spin moves or rushing too far in (though we got caught on a few designed roll outs after run fakes), and not playing much zone (and not sure if we played any off zone). We also did a lit...

Spiller Questionable but Up to Speed; Morgan will have a role - bonethug0108
[link=(http://espn.go.com/blog/new-orleans-saints)]LINK[/link] Phone won't let me pick the single article but the one I'm talking about should be clear.
“We’ll see,” Payton said. But Payton did stress that he is not worried about Spiller needing time to get up to speed since Spiller ...

Thoughts on where we've been and where we need to go. - bonethug0108
Watching the game made me realize we are repeating some of the same exact mistakes we made last year. 1) We aren't keeping contain on the QB. This looked like and EXACT copy of the opening game last year against the Falcons where the ends (Jordan and Galette last year and Jordan and Kikaha this y...

90 Man Roster Depth Chart Post Rookie Minicamp 2015 - bonethug0108
The depth chart is based on where guys will initially start(my best guess) and isn't a reflection of who will actually start. Remember that Payton puts seniority first in almost all situations. Offense QB Brees McCown Griffin Grayson HB Ingram Spiller Robinson H...

Looking at the numbers, was the Graham trade planned all along? - bonethug0108
Right before FA we got to about $2.4m under. The number was an estimate but it should be close. The Graham trade cost us $2.5m in cap. So that means we are right at the cap at the moment. So it seems we knew exactly how much we needed to clear starting from the PT release. And yes we are right at...

Sanford is confirmed to be making vet minimum($745k with the max allowed bonus for vet minimum of 80k), while Bunkley saves us $2.95 by cutting his base to $1.25 but they added a $200k roster bonus. Graham saved us $3.3m by having his $5m roster bonus spread over 3 years....

2012: Free Agency from Hell - bonethug0108
So in another thread I was going over the big money guys that haven't been worth their contracts and the four names I came up with were all signed in 2012 (the bounty year). That is Lofton, Hawthorne, Bunkley, and Grubbs. Investing that much money into players that haven't panned out as planned h...

Galette Untradable? - bonethug0108
So word is that we have no takers for Galette because of his contract (which makes no sense to me as it's a bargain deal) and pending legal issues and possible suspension. What does that mean? It means that unless we make several other moves just to clear cap so we can cut him as we lose $750 ...

bone takes a hit before FA even begins, and Carolina got blindsided - bonethug0108
There was talk of Atlanta pursue David Harris in FA but he just resigned with the Jets, taking away one of their best options to improve at LB. And in news no one said coming Carolina picks up Blindside, a slightly less turnstile like LT than Bell. Things are shaping up early. Edit...
