Anyone else see this wild and crazy movie? I had no idea it was actually based a true story - and the real story was even more bizarre than the movie.
I thought it was very funny, and the actors did a great job with these over the top ridiculous characters.
I'm planning to track down the book...

Before the BCS, the crystal trophy was given to the #1 team in the Coaches' Poll, after a vote a day or two after the season ended.
During the BCS, the title game winner was automatically #1 in the CP, so the trophy was given out immediately after the game on the field.

If you're interested, the NBCSports channel is running replays of the Olympics by event. Men's and women's swimming were two hours each, also have track, basketball, gymnastics, ect. I don't know how long NBC will have it on the web, so it may be a good opportunity to dvr/record it....
