I have my brisket sitting in the fridge with a dry rub that I made. It will be smoked tomorrow, but I need a few tips.
It's a 3.8-4.0 lb. brisket. I'll be just an electric smoker that is insulated and sealed from wind. I've got Pecan wood chips handy, do I need to soak them for this small of a br...
| Tiger Rant|| Thoughts on stadium expansion? - 1MileTiger on 9/8/14 at 7:32 pm|
Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the opening game in the new Tiger Stadium. I haven't seen any thoughts on the new stadium, video boards, and sound systems. I know it wasn't a big game, but what are some of the thoughts on the new venue?...
| Tiger Rant|| Green Bay, WI - Can we start a general info thread? - 1MileTiger on 9/3/14 at 10:50 am|
While we still have the attention of a few Wisconsin fans here, I was hoping to get a general information thread going.
We'll be traveling to the game from Denver, and wanted to make a few day trip out of it. What are some must-dos for Green Bay, WI, and which direction should we drive for other ...

| Tiger Rant|| What's the Vibe in LA? - 1MileTiger on 8/25/14 at 3:57 pm|
Living in Denver, there's really no one to get excited with about the upcoming LSU matchup and season.
People here only get hard-ons for the Broncos, rightfully so. CU-Boulder and CSU are both garbage schools for football.
So what's the vibe like in Louisiana?...
| O-T Lounge|| Fruit trees hanging over public areas, free to take? - 1MileTiger on 8/19/14 at 5:18 pm|
What is the legality of taking fruit from a tree that is growing well into a public area?
There is a greenbelt near my home with a home backing to it. The tree trunk is in the owners back yard, but 50-60% of the tree extends over their fence into the public green space. The apples are starting to...

I've been on a quest to re-create the coffee available at Coffee Call and Cafe Du Monde. I've purchased their exact beans for the brew, follow their instructions with steamed/heated milk, use both a coffee pot and a french press, but I can never get it to taste like what they serve.
The closest I...

Living in Colorado, it's already very dry here. Few months ago, my basement flooded, and Servepro came out and ran dehumidifiers in the basement for several days. My guitar was hanging in the furnace room, and was not damaged by water, but did remain down there during the drying process.

I was watching a Blackhawk come in from the mountains this morning and as he got closer to my office, he banked hard and did a 270 degree turn and briskly landed. | O-T Lounge|| Water Wheel - Removes litter from river using currents - 1MileTiger on 5/19/14 at 9:36 pm|
This is a much smaller waterway than the Mississippi River, but could something similar be implemented somewhere along the river mouth?
You obviously can't block the river due to freighter traffic, but can you divert the current slowly to one point while allowing boats to pass?
