I have an alum block, and I have used Charles Robert's Hydrolast and the Sandalwood balm from Art of Shaving.
If it has that classic barbershop fragrance, that's a bonus.

Pretty interesting documentary, it's on Netflix Steaming. I was 13 or 14 and into skating when he was in his prime. I always preferred his artistic flair and huge air to Tony Hawk's more technical style. Hosoi was just beautiful to watch on a half pipe.
