I just got one for my AR and mounted it tonight. The rear flip up lens cover is not very stiff and flops down over the sight at times. Anyone know how to fix this? All of the reviews I read on this red dot were for the most part positive....

Had a big 8 or 9 grunt at me this morning. He was 160 yards away. Shot twice and missed, no hair or blood. He had a little 7 pt with him. First deer I've ever completely missed. I'm back in the stand now, btw, it was the biggest deer I've ever seen on this lease.

I recently acquired a Marlin 917V, I put the scope bases on it last night and was trying to figure out what kind of scope to put on it. My price range is $100-$200. It would be used mainly for squirrel hunting and for teaching my son to shoot with a scope when he gets older....

May be trading a Sig P239 .40 cal. for a Mathews FX bow. The pistol is worth at least $500.
Bow has all the bells and whistles, been used only a few times. 12 arrows also....
