Decided to do something different, been on a brisket kick for a while. Went to Calvins to grab some spares and beef short ribs caught my eye. One problem, I haven't cooked them before... Are they better on the pit or smoker?
Anyone point me in the right direction as far as technique and ingredient...

Is he a bit small for 4-3 at 215?

Went yesterday. Hard to get in and out of. The canal near the landing seems to be filling in.
Plus, the lake gets shallower every year and doesn't seem to hold winter trout.
