When I turn my HDTV on it may play with excellent pic for 20,30,60 min. B4 it automatically cuts off pic (sound stays on) . Is it repairable or best to dump it and buy a new one? Need tech advice....

My Phillips tv keeps losing its picture then will come back on when turned on with the remote but it constantly loses the picture but the sound is good. When the pic is on it is perfect. Can it be repaired or is it more feasible to buy a new one. All info appreciated....
