| SEC Rant|| List your school's HCs with 11-win seasons - FearlessFreep on 2/8/14 at 8:17 am|
Winning 11 gsmes in a single year is a notable achievement, particularly in light of the the fact that the 11-game regular season didn't become mandatory for all Divison 1-A schools until 1973.
How many HCs in your school's history have attained that lofty plateau? Here's AU's list:

| Auburn Sports Board|| We had four guys rush for over 600 yards this season - FearlessFreep on 12/7/13 at 9:29 pm|
Tre Mason 1638
Nick Marshall 1023
Corey Grant 664
Cameron Artis-Payne 613
In the four-year period between Stephen Davis' last year and Rudi (1996-1999), we had none.
In fact, we had only one player go over 500 in that period: Michael Burks, with 532 in 1998.

Rushing: 52 carries for 289 yards (5.5 ypc) and 4 TDs
Passing: 35-53 (66%) for 458 yards (8.6 ypa) and 4 TDs

Malzahn is now the 5th consecutive HC (not counting interim HC Bill Oliver) to have AU in the national championship picture following an Iron Bowl victory.
Since Shug took over 60+ years ago, the only AU HC not to have a legitimate shot at an MNC in a season was Doug Barfield. Final AP poll ran...

I'm not one of those who puts a lot of stock in trends from past games affecting future outcomes, but I thought this was interesting nonetheless: AU wins this game 77% of the time when coming into the DSOR with 2 or fewer losses, regardless of UGa's record.
