Earl Lane was the guy who got us into Miami, the most fertile recruiting region in the nation. he also is the recruiter of record for the 3 most highly rated recruits that live the farthest from Baton Rouge (peterson, barksdale, and montgomery).

Everyone seems so concerned about offering guys this year since we may not have many for next year considering the quality and depth of next year's class.

James Wright has 4 stars on rivals and is rated the 40th best receiver. Both Davis and Hunter are around 20-25th.
can LSU afford to pass on Wright, Fobbs and Carter. all 3 are 4 stars for whatever thats worth....
