I had never seen this phenom before, but about a month ago, I was in a 23 foot bay boat, fishing at the mouth of some little bayou that flowed into Chef Pass.
Huge arse barge comes by, and it's wake starts sucking...

Do offensive players ever put a "spy" on a defensive player, say someone like Clowney? Or any guy that can almost single handledly disrupt an offense's planned play?

For whatever reason, I'm under the impression that vet's just typically don't do this, but I'm not sure why I think that.
