Last 30 seconds. - SP
I agree with all the criticism, however, why is no one taking about our failure to take a timeout to ensure that at least we had a chance for a kickoff return? Seems like a violation of football 101....

Lee's disappointment understandable; Mile reasoning consistant - SP
From what I hear, the plan coming out of half time was to go with Lee. However, when we took the ball in prime scoring position, he went with Jefferson as he had all season in that position. After we scored we got the ball back again in prime scoring position. Then we scored again. At that point...

Mike Nolan - SP
Should Miles leave, Nolan should be the obvious choice. Former NFL head coach, big time highly regarded NFL defensive co-ordinator, LSU ties....

PP v. JJ - SP
PP actually did a great job. Sure JJ had 10 catches, but only 89 yards. If I told you before the game the JJ would have less than 100 yards receiving, you would have taken it. The key is they let him catch the short pass, took everyone else away and did not give up the deep ball. Great game plan...

Does this sound familiar? - SP
Ron Jaworski on Max Hall: "They're just not getting the football and when it comes their way it's inaccurate, it's at bouncing at their feet, it is high or it's behind them," Jaworski said. "Receivers begin to lose confidence in the quarterback. These aren't things I'm making up. These are thi...

A dish of crow - SP
I may have to change my opinion of Miles. I appreciate balls, and he appears to have found them again. I think that the last couple of seasons he has played uptight due to the pressure that winning the National Championship in 2007 put on the program. Now, Miles seems to be letting it hang ou...

Back from the game - SP
A group of us got back from the game and were surprised at some of the comments here. Everyone in the stands was very frustrated when JJ came into the game, and the Florida fans could not believe that we kept playing him. However, sometimes the stands are not the best place to evaluate gameplay...

Les Miles v. Ed Orgeron - SP
Miles and Orgeron are very similar as coaches. Both are inarticuate baffoons that recruit well and don't have a prayer on gameday. Orgeron may cheat more than Miles, but Miles has his own NCAA record. Miles obviously has more advantages than Orgeron had at Ole Miss. As far as coaching mistakes...

Les is here this year and next - SP
Realisticly there are about 100 LSU alumni who would participate in a buyout this size, and they are not writing that check in this economy. The buyout may still be to big after next season. Les is bullet proof unless the NCAA really come s calling. And DJ McCarthy is not enough....

Crowton's Offense - SP
The most interesting thing is that this game is the first game I have seen something that resembles Crowton's offense. Bubble screens, slants, etc.. And it worked! If Les is not in charge of clock managment, what is he in charge of, making sure that the water coolers are full? If he has ...

There's a reason Patriots coach Bill Belichick sounded so grim about Kevin Faulk's knee injury earlier on Tuesday. Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe reports that Faulk has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, which will end his 12th season with the franchise. We already discussed how big a ro...

Charles Scott - SP
Per ESPN Round 6 (200th overall), LSU running back Charles Scott: He could wind up as the Eagles' backup fullback. Evidently he is doing very well in camp at FULLBACK. Second consecutive starting tailback to be immediately moved to FULLBACK. Have we ever considered playing our FULLBACKS at F...
