Have you ever made a career move (not of your choice) that initially seemed terrible, but looking back, turned out to be excellent?
For me, getting laid off from my first IT job was the best move ever.

Looks like my pump is bad. It makes a ton of noise and no pressure.
Here is the question:
Why would plastic shards be on the intake side of the pump? I pulled the sight cover and by the screen, there were shredded bits of plastic.
Any ideers? ...

Loaded the Yeti on Friday morning with ice and beer.
Tailgated all day Saturday before and after game, periodically adding beer.
