Would you rather pull for a team of lesser talented players that gave their all every night/game but have a sub .500 regular season. They are still respectable but say they only win like 40% of their games and no postseason.

Just installed a USB 3.0 PCI card in my old Dell, and while my external HD is seeing speeds 2x as fast as 2.0 I'm not coming anywhere near the theoretical max of 625 MB/S.
I know the 625 # is pie in the sky but what realistically should I be looking for here? Twice as fast is good but I expected ...

Last night and once today, right after starting my car the RPMs fluctuate btw 3000 and 5500.
Both times I gave it a little gas the RPMs dropped to normal and it idled and drove fine.
anyone have a guess on what might be causing this?...
