It seems like they rewarded NC by calling the penalty. I guess you don't need time outs anymore on offense, just have too many men on the field and spike it. The popular theory up until now has been that a 1 loss SEC team would still get into the BCSCG. With everyone in the east having at least 2 losses now, the 1 loss team would have to come from the west. I don't think beating a 2 loss team from the east will give us the "bump" that it usually does.
