Specialty Butcher Products - Fratastic423
I am trying to find some Caul Fat, which is the fat that surrounds the organs of cows, sheep, pigs, etc. It looks like a spider web for those who haven't seen it before. Any recommendations on where I could find it in the Baton Rouge area today or tomorrow? Last minute decision to make these coun...

Her suggestion was to go to the Ruby Slipper but they don't take reservations, which apparently we were hoping to ha...

Coed Over 30 Soccer Team Formation? - Fratastic423
So I am jumping back on the soccer saddle, a buddy convinced me to play on his newly created over 30 coed team. After being convinced that the league is as close as possible to a beer league, I bought in as I am in the worst shape of my life. The team is going to be terrible, as we have a mixture ...

Going to see Jeff Dunham with my dad tonight (he is a fan) and we need dinner plans. He suggested Walk On due to proximity, but I refuse to drive from BTR to NOLA and eat at Walk Ons. we have a decent amount of time, but the show is at 730 I think, so not a bunch. Not looking for anything crazy e...

Vacuum Storage Systems - Fratastic423
I assume that many people use vacuum storage systems of some kind at their house. Do you feel it is a worthwhile investment? For the first time ever I clicked on an ad on TD for the VacuVita and it seems like a pretty good product. Kind of pricey but if it saves me money on food going bad it may ...

Homebrewing - Plans for the Weekend - Fratastic423
What's on the brewing calendar for the weekend guys (and gals, are there any gal brewers who post here?)? My plan is to brew a Belgian Trippel one of the two days. Probably will depend on if I get a starter going tonight or tomorrow morning. I am looking to make it traditional but slightly diff...

While it seems to be sold out in bottles around Baton Rouge, the Cove is tapping a keg of it tonight at 6. No I don't work there, I am just personally invested, not monetarily or anything, in having successful specialty kegs in Baton Rouge, so I wanted to come promote it. ...
