When I'm working on my laptop, I keep getting a black screen with a message that reads something like "disc drive failed - fully recovered." Do I need to start shopping for a new laptop? Mine is about 4 or 5 years old. I just had the hard drive replaced about a year ago. TIA

Just had a 5.9 in Borrego Springs and felt it up in Burbank. Kind of weird. We're on the 11th floor and the building is on rollers. So we roll with the earth's motion and sway at the top.
Makes me feel a little drunk.

So here I am posting on TD at work and the boss schedules time in the afternoon to play PS3 with on of the other guys up here. I have no idea what they are playing but they seem to be shooting and killing lots of PS3 people.

Saw The Losers last night. Loved this movie. Total guy flick with lots of stuff blowing up, lots of guns, and fight sequences. Witty guy banter and skinny little girls with big guns and kicking ass.
The girls I saw it with loved it, too. No nudity and very little sex, but there were some scantily...

So, we just found out that my boss hired a supervisor. A friend of his in another department.
Her current employees started throwing a party when they found out she was leaving.
Does not bode well for our department. :lol:
